I was born and raised in the United States, and I have also lived in the Netherlands and Ireland. I will be making my third international move to Italy in March 2026. I have loved having the opportunity to live in different countries and explore new cultures. I find that each new experience teaches me as much about other people as it does about myself. However, this life does not come without challenges.
As an immigrant, I know how difficult it can be to build a life in an unfamiliar culture. I feel passionately about supporting immigrants as they navigate the ups and downs of life in another country by creating a safe space where they can express their unique experiences and challenges.
While I have a special interest in working with immigrants, I am happy to work with any clients of any background. In addition to my training as a psychotherapist, I have earned a master's in Medical Anthropology and Sociology, where I took a special interest in the intersection of sexuality, culture, and gender. I continue to have a great interest in working with identity, culture, sexuality, gender, and inter-personal relationships.
